It’s a tough gig being a billionaire.
Okay, not really, but the anxiety must be next level.
You have to be a very particular person to be able to juggle being the CEO of over three major society-forming companies, while also tweeting nonsense and worrying about your dad in South Africa.
Being in the public eye is not for the faint-hearted, and Elon Musk knows very well that there are some people out there who would be more than happy to see him go down.
There are also those desperate for a hug, but that’s not why we are here.
Musk has quipped before that his $44 billion takeover of Twitter “won’t increase my life expectancy”, replying to post-Kardashian Caitlyn Jenner’s tweet warning him about becoming “public enemy number one to some very very bad people” that he really needs to up his security game, notes Business Insider.
He is increasingly stressed about his safety, commenting that people posting his live location or travel plans was “becoming a security issue”:
Yeah, unfortunately this is becoming a security issue

It has even gotten to a point where he is concerned that he or members of his family face the threat of being kidnapped:
His 76-year-old father, Errol, told The US Sun that his son increased his own security with more armed guards following “recent threats”.
Errol Musk told The Sun that he feared for his son’s safety despite him being protected by “100 security guards.”
Errol also confirmed that his son has upgraded his home security system in South Africa with the addition of a high-tech camera system, electric fencing, and 24-hour armed guards.
This is wholly necessary, he said, as there were four break-ins at his home last year.
With all the money in the world, Errol and Elon should be fine enough.
