A disturbing video shows the moment a man tried to pull a barista through a drive-thru window.

It has been reported as an alleged kidnapping attempt in Washington state, America, as police said the man “attempted to drag the victim through the window using a looped zip tie device”.

At around 5AM on Monday, the woman was handing him back his change at the coffee stand when he whipped out the zip tie and attempted to drag her through the window and into his SUV, noted The New York Post.

Thankfully, the woman, who has been working at the coffee stand for 15 years, managed to pull her arm back into the window and close it before the customer drove off.

The man has a distinct tattoo on his left forearm, which made it relatively easy to find him and arrest him:

Auburn police said in a tweet cops arrested the suspect Tuesday after “overwhelming support from the community.”

Police said before the unidentified man’s capture, that he had a distinct tattoo on his left forearm that appears to spell out “Chevrolet.”

The woman escaped being kidnapped with a few minor scratches on her arm and is totally shaken by the incident, along with her other colleagues, too.

Thank goodness she held her ground.
