Dan Mace, my man.
The South African filmmaker has just recently signed on as the Chief Creative Officer for the Beast Philanthropy YouTube channel.
That’s MrBeast, the super famous American YouTuber once nicknamed ‘The Oprah of YouTube’, AKA Jimmy Donaldson, known for his elaborate stunts and insane giveaways.
With over 208 million subscribers total across all of his channels (having launched the channel in September 2020) MrBeast is ranked as Forbes‘ World’s Most Followed Person on YouTube.
The 24-year-old earned $54 million in 2021 alone, a lot of which he didn’t keep.
The Beast Philanthropy channel stipulates that “100% of the profits from my ad revenue, merch sales, and sponsorships will go towards making the world a better place!”
Dan is also not shy of success, as a multi-award-winning director, YouTuber, and creator of the BRU Show for Warner Brothers, Discovery.
Now, he’s doing the utmost with YouTube’s good man Jimmy. Watch Mace explain how he got the job of Chief Creative Officer for Beast Philanthropy:
His latest collaboration with MrBeast is already proving to be fruitful, notes News24:
In the latest video and the first Mace has produced for Beast Philanthropy, shared on Thursday (January 12), the channel announces and kicks off their plan to rebuild 12 homes for an orphanage in Khayelitsha, Cape Town, over the next six months.
