Trevor Noah shocked everyone when he announced his abrupt exit from The Daily Show after working for seven years as a host.
In a nutshell, his main reason for leaving was that he missed touring his stand-up comedy and it’s a part of his life that he wants to “carry on exploring”.
Well, he’s back on the road (and on Netflix) with an upcoming comedy special for the streamer and an impending stand-up comedy world tour.
The Off The Record Tour will kick off in the US on January 20, 2023, before he skips all over the show from Europe, Asia, Australia, South Africa, of course, and the rest of Africa:

In fact, the comedian has promised “more dates in Africa”, which will be announced in due time.
Until then, we have his latest Netflix special, I Wish You Would, to look forward to, set to premiere on November 22.
In the show, the Emmy winner chronicles some events from his life, including his experience learning German, how he’s been dealing with modern communication, and his undying love of curry, notes Collider.
However, the trailer focuses exclusively on his impersonation bit about American presidents:
This will be his third comedy special to premiere on Netflix.
We’re so glad you haven’t “disappeared”, my china.
