Only a few weeks ago, Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen announced their divorce to the public.

No time has been wasted on the model’s front, as Gisele is already sending a message to her ex and showing him what he’s missing.

The NFL player basically chose football over her, so she has every right to make him a little jelly by going out with the jiu-jitsu hunk Joaquim Valente.

The two have been spotted hanging out in the wake of Gisele and Tom’s split, reported Page Six.

The pair were seen having a night out in Costa Rica – along with the model’s two children, Benjamin, 12, and Vivian, 9, and Valente’s co-trainer Jordan – which is where Gisele, Tom, and the kids spent many happy times once before in the home that they own together.

Since the divorce, though, Gisele has kept the Costa Rican family’s vacation home, so she has free rein to take whomever she wants there.

Taking the man who teaches her Japanese self-defence is a power move, for sure:

A source told Page Six that Gisele has known Valente, who lives in Miami, for at least a year and a half after meeting him when she signed her son, Benjamin, up for lessons in the ancient art.

She then started taking lessons herself and ever since, a family source has said that “it certainly looks like Gisele is showing off — and showing Tom what he’s missing”.

I mean, I would have thought that being a hot Brazilian supermodel is enough:

There are some who are shooting down the reports, though:

“Joaquim and his two brothers have instructed Gisele and the children in martial arts for the past year and a half,” the insider said. The source added that the duo’s relationship is “strictly platonic and professional.”

A second insider told us, “Jordan and Joaquim travel with the family when they’re out of town because the kids are homeschooled.”

A source also said that this is their “fourth or fifth time” going to Costa Rica together and that they will continue to go there.

This sexy photoshoot that Gisele and Valente did together more than a year ago for Dust Magazine doesn’t help the “platonic” thing, though:

Meanwhile, another source mentioned that the speed at which Gisele pulled the plug on her marriage has caused major speculation, saying that “none of us knew exactly what happened”:

Friends of Brady and Bündchen have said they feel there is something more to their split — even though Page Six was told there was no cheating on either side.

One insider mused to TMZ Monday: “It always seemed weird she just one day abruptly ended the marriage.”

Either way, Gisele is sure as hell ready for a fight and she couldn’t be hotter for it.
