Brooklyn Beckham and actress Nicola Peltz tied the knot at Peltz’s billionaire father’s $103 million estate in April this year.

It has only been a couple of months of marriage, but a source has revealed that trouble is already brewing in their relationship.

In PEOPLE‘s 2022 Sexiest Man Alive issue, which features Beckham near the top of the list, he only has nice things to say about his marriage to Nicola:

“Her family lives in Florida and mine in the UK, but we have our own life out here in LA and it’s really really lovely,” says Beckham, whose parents are soccer star David Beckham and designer Victoria. “Just having each other’s company, it’s the best.”

The budding chef also went on about the basic meals he enjoys making, which include a lot of Italian dishes along with the traditional English bangers and mash:

Overall, Nicola and Brooklyn’s married life seems relatively low-key, with tons of sushi dates and Netflix and chill sessions watching Love Island.

Meanwhile, a source at Heat said that Victoria ‘Posh’ Beckham is desperate to get her eldest son out from under the influence of the Peltzs, and is hoping to help him move out of their lavish family estate ASAP:

“For Vic and David, there’s no other take on it than Nicola just trying to stir things up again and having no intention of moving on,” we’re told.

“Victoria and David are furious on so many levels. First, it’s the fact she just won’t let it rest, but they also can’t help but wonder whether this is down to the fact Brooklyn had spoken to her about wanting to spend time with his family over Christmas and that set her off on her latest episode.”

Brooklyn has been living with Nicola at the Peltz family compound in Florida all this time, but apparently, he’s been feeling a little isolated and lonely:

“He’s been talking to his parents and asking them to help him move out,” we’re told.

“He’s finding it tough and is acutely aware he’s living with someone else’s parents. He wants him and Nicola to have their own place. They’re married and should be starting a life together, not just living in a wing of her parents’ mansion and always having to do whatever the family is doing.”

Brooklyn has apparently tried to broach the subject with Nicola on numerous occasions but she is of the strong opinion that until their careers are more settled, they should stay at home.

Not only are they fighting about where to live, but there seems to be a fundamental difference in how they prefer to spend their time:

“At the moment, Nicola seems to want to keep jetting all over the place, going to fashion events and parties, whereas Brooklyn is actually a bit of a homebody. When he tries to talk to her about it, it ends up in a huge row. During one argument Brooklyn even suggested that he was just going to go ahead and get a place in New York by asking his parents to help him out, which Nicola did not appreciate.”

The source says they are “rowing almost daily at the moment”.

We’ve seen how fiercely protective and supportive Victoria is of her kids, and she is apparently pushing Brooklyn to make the move away from Nicola.

Brooklyn’s mother and his wife seem to have a bit of a “feud” even though Nicola has adamantly denied it in an interview before:

“It’s not a feud! I keep seeing everywhere that word – feud, feud, feud.” She then cryptically added, “No family is perfect.”

That much we know to be true.

Is it a case, as Heat says, that one “surefire way to convince people a feud exists” is to “furiously” deny it?
