The UK can keep its Rebekah Vardy and Coleen Rooney drama because, as of yesterday, there’s a new ace detective in the house.
In the drama labelled the Wagatha Christie case, Rooney claims to have used her Instagram account to out Vardy as the person who was leaking stories about the Rooney family to the tabloids.
Sonia Booth, the wife of former Bafana Bafana player Matthew Booth, has gone one better.
Yesterday, in a blistering series of Instagram posts, she outlined her husband’s alleged infidelity in painstaking detail, with a cheesecake at the centre of it all.
Sonia alleges, and backs up with numerous screenshots, that her husband has been carrying out an affair with fitness junkie, Bongani Mthombeni-Moller, who is reportedly also married.
It starts with this Instagram post where Matthew talks about every day at home being like Valentine’s Day, except he’d allegedly been carrying on his affair that very morning:

From that moment on, the receipts were methodically laid out, reports The Citizen:
According to Sonia, who had taken the decision to make the betrayal public after meeting with Bongani’s husband, Matthew had been using their joint bank account and her vehicle, which has a tracker in it, to entertain Bongani…
Sonia said that she was initially livid that her car had been used for their trip but said that it was a blessing in disguise, as the tracker data provided her with the evidence she needed.
It’s actually best just to embed Sonia’s Instagram posts here so she can tell the story herself.
I’ve skipped over a few but you can see she’s done her homework:

And now for the moment that sealed Matthew’s fate – the cheesecake:

The couple’s financials, as well as further allegations against Mthombeni-Moller, soon followed:

As I said, it was the cheesecake and the ensuing Tupperware drama that set in motion yesterday’s big reveal:

Life lesson learnt – never, ever take somebody’s Tupperware.
As it stands, Matthew Booth has yet to publicly comment and Mthombeni-Moller has simply posted an Instagram Story of her exercising this morning.
What can you say, really?
“You can’t have your cake and eat it” has never been more apt.
