Divorce is never fun and easy.
At least when there’s a prenup of sorts, things can go relatively smoothly and help each party save face.
Such is the case with Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen, who were able to quickly divide their assets and meet the terms of their “ironclad prenup”, leading to a swift and seamless divorce.
A report by PageSix alleges that a source with direct knowledge of the separation between the ex-power couple claims that this contract was crucial in their divorce:
“There was an ironclad prenup set down before they married in 2009. They both have their own separate business entities, so the separation of their wealth wasn’t that complicated in the end. The only other major factor was dividing up their massive property portfolio.”
Brady and Bündchen both hold their own ludicrous wealth, with Brady being worth around $333 million dollars and Gisele surpassing the $400 million threshold.
She is the world’s highest-paid model, after all.
Apparently, Brady will keep the $17 million mansion currently under construction on the “billionaire’s bunker” Indian Creek Island in Miami.
Gisele will keep the family’s vacation home in Costa Rica as she likes to go there with the kids.
She’s also reportedly bought two properties in Miami Beach, one a modest three-bedroom pad for $1,25 million, which she will use as an office, as well as another larger home.
Now they’ve just got to choose between the other homes in their massive property portfolio.

That includes a home in the Bahamas, another at the exclusive Yellowstone Club in Montana, and a New York City apartment, where Bündchen had been staying amid the divorce.
They will also be sharing joint custody of their children Benjamin, 12 and Vivian, 9, as well as Brady’s 15-year-old son Jack whom he had with actress Bridget Moynahan.
The supermodel filed for divorce last Friday, and the dissolution of their marriage was finalised on the spot.
Brady is probably really grateful that the divorce proceedings won’t take him away from the field too much, since you know, he basically chose football over Gisele.
