It would appear that the khaki-clad chap in the video below hasn’t heard of Penny Sparrow or Adam Catzavelos.
The latter become infamous after he filmed himself on a beach in Greece celebrating the lack of diversity.
Where is he these days? The last we heard he agreed to pay a R150 000 fine and read out an apology in court.
In Meyerton, just north of Vereeniging, a new video doing the rounds shows the khaki crusader repeatedly calling a black man the k-word.
The exact circumstances are unclear, reports The Citizen, with the incident taking place outside the Midvaal Slaghuis butchery:
The black man wearing what we can assume as a waiter uniform then stumbles, before standing up. He then stood few meters away from the man and shouts “I am not a k*****, stop calling me a k*****, I promise I will stab you to death.”
…Other women who are equally enraged by the man’s racist slur also chant “Are mo betseng!”, which translates to “let’s beat him up”.
Not to be deterred, the man gives the crowd the middle finger.
🔴Black Worker Gets Called A “Kaffir”🔴

He really did go rapid-fire with the k-word. It’s been a while since we’ve seen something of this ilk.
Cast your mind back to 2020 and this epic meltdown with a sprinkling of racism:
However, this is not a thread created to discuss the “great things” happening in this county. I have reached out to SAPS regarding this matter and their response has been nothing but…(distasteful to say the least). pic.twitter.com/lMoA47bTAU

My gut tells me this woman might have unresolved anger issues dating back to her childhood.
Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi has vowed to ‘hunt’ the man in the latest video down.
There’s no information about whether the man in the latest video has been found and charged with crimen injuria but residents in Meyerton say this sort of thing is common in their neighbourhood.
UPDATE: Leonard Mbhele, a waiter at the Irish Harp Restaurant and Pub in Meyerton, has been named as one of the men in the video.
Pub owner Louw Botes told TimesLIVE that the man allegedly had a documented psychiatric problem:
“I phoned the police. They handled the situation and they found out he was certified as mentally ill. They called an ambulance [paramedics] to inject him.”
He said the man was taken to a mental institution in Sebokeng for treatment.
Before the video kicked off, Botes says the man had taken a knife from the pub’s kitchen and chased Mbhele.
He says he intends to press charges.
