Ultimatums are tricky, but they’re the best bet when you’re trying to get your needs met.

Unless the person you’ve given the ultimatum to rejects your needs and follows through for theirs instead.

Shame, because Gisele Bündchen gave Tom Brady a final ultimatum amidst their marital drama, and now they are both moving on in separate directions.

The quarterback, 45, and the model, 42, married in February 2009 but have been struggling to get on the same page lately after Brady un-retired from the NFL.

Then, according to an ‘insider’, “Gisele told Tom either he leaves football to spend time with the family or she is gone for good,” reported Jezebel:

Gisele, according to said insider, is worried about her husband’s health in the game of football. You know the one: where they body slam each other into the turf to advance the ball a yard or two, or push through shoddy concussion protocol to get back in the game.

“She doesn’t want him to continue to get injured and not be able to enjoy life in the future,” the source said. “She is doing it for her family,” and she just wants Tom to make a “big gesture to support her.”

Brady shares son Benjamin, 12, and daughter Vivian, 9, with the former Victoria’s Secret model. He also has a son Jack, 15, who he shares with ex Bridget Moynahan.

Per US Weekly, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback announced his decision to return to football just six weeks after his retirement was initially confirmed earlier this year:

“Obviously, I have my concerns — this is a very violent sport, and I have my children and I would like him to be more present. I have definitely had those conversations with him over and over again,” [Gisele] told Elle in their October 2022 cover story.

“But ultimately, I feel that everybody has to make a decision that works for [them]. He needs to follow his joy, too.”

The two had apparently split in September, living separately, and had hired divorce lawyers weeks later.

They’ve both since been spotted without their wedding rings on, including Gisele at a pumpkin patch in Miami with her kids over the past weekend.

Another anonymous ‘insider’ told Page Six that “things are very nasty between Tom and Gisele because of the lawyers,” noting that both parties “are ready for a fight”:

“Tom and Gisele are not battling over the kids, they both want joint custody,” the source said. “But it will take some time to divide their immense wealth and property all over the world.”

Meanwhile, the couple’s inner circle has turned on Brady and his decision:

“Gisele and Tom’s friends are upset at Tom for going back on his word and coming out of retirement,” a source exclusively revealed to Us earlier this month. “They hate the way Tom is refusing to bend for Gisele.”

Sorry, Gisele, it doesn’t look like he’ll be heeding your warning any time soon.
