Kim Kardashian has homes all over Los Angeles, including Beverly Hills, Beverly Grove, Bel Air, and Hidden Hills.
Now she’s added supermodel Cindy Crawford’s old Malibu mansion to the mix.
The deal was the most expensive house sale in Malibu so far this year, going for $70,4 million even though it was originally listed for $99 million.
Kim will now be neighbours with Lady Gaga, Courteney Cox, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Cher.
Although, they won’t likely be seeing much of Kim as her new pad is invisible from the street, set at the end of a very long driveway, and locked behind an impenetrable hedge wall and towering gate:
Homes & Gardens notes that the mansion is “undoubtedly one of the world’s best homes”, boasting private beach access, tennis courts, and sprawling decks fringed around the edges.
It was actually Adam Weiss, a retired hedge fund manager from California’s Silicon Valley, who sold the property to Kim, having lived there for a few years before Crawford.
Take a look at Crawford’s house tour to get a sense of the place:
Per Forbes, the two-story, red-roofed Mediterranean-style residence spans 692 square metres with stunning views of the ocean, beach, and coastline:
The home has four bedrooms and five-and-a-half bathrooms to accommodate Kim and all her children.
The master bedroom is one to impress, however. Boasting two spa-like master bathroom ideas, the space is one that oozes relaxed luxury – perfect for housing the mogul’s extravagant beauty and fragrance collections.
The open-plan living room and dining area also have floor-to-ceiling panoramic glass doors opening up the space to an exterior deck with well-rounded views of the sea.
The pool and the exterior decks are just some of the many luxury amenities on the property. The pool ideas are relatively humble, however, backyard fire pits sit around the exterior space, one located beneath the shelter of the poolside cabana allowing for cozy, cool nights near the water.
If pools aren’t enough, there’s a private path that leads down to the white sandy beach, accessible only to the handful of surrounding mansions that make up the neighbourhood.
Tree-lined tennis courts, a gym with vaulted ceilings, and a media room are like the cherries on top.
Sounds like a decent place to rest your head when you’re not at one of your other mansions.
