Holly Madison was just 21 when she moved into the Playboy mansion in 2001.
She started dating Hugh Hefner, then 75, shortly after.
Besides the obvious criticism over having a relationship with a 54-year age gap, Hefner’s entire legacy has been put under the microscope, with former Playmates coming out to detail shocking truths from the mansion.
The hit A&E docuseries Secrets of Playboy, which featured Holly and Bridget Marquardt (two out of the three girlfriends of the late Playboy founder on the E! reality series The Girls Next Door), among others, has provided details on disturbing controversies.
BuzzFeed News reported that Holly and Bridget reflected on their experiences together during a joint appearance on the Juicy Scoop podcast, saying that sex with Hef was largely unprotected, turn by turn, and pretty siff, actually:
Detailing how their first orgy occurred after a drunken night out, Marquardt noted that she initially planned on watching without participating.
“I was still just gonna watch and then [one of the other Playmates] was like, ‘Aren’t you gonna go?’ It was like, ‘You need to go.’ And I was like, I would rather not. And she’s like, ‘Well, then you probably won’t be invited back,’” Marquardt recalled.
“So then I was like, OK. And I’d seen what everybody else was doing, so I knew that this was, like, a 10-second thing. I mean, definitely no more than a minute,” she went on.
Madison also chimed in, explaining that though she’d “blocked” most of it from her memory, she also recalled the women “trying to get it done as quickly as possible”.
Holly and Bridget also lifted the veil even further in their new podcast, Girls Next Level, touching on their experiences on the E! reality series, per The New York Times:
“Hef would use baby oil as lube,” Madison revealed. “I do not recommend this. It is an infection waiting to happen. It’s disgusting. I don’t know what his hang-up was with it.”
“It took to the point where I was constantly irritated by this baby oil because it throws off your pH, so you’re constantly going to like [having] yeast infections,” she continued, with Marquardt corroborating the recollection.
“I remember talking to the gynecologist about it and then telling Hef, ‘You need to stop using baby oil. I can’t use it,’ and even telling him the gynecologist agreed with me, and he would argue with me and be like, ‘Well people use baby oil on babies.””
Madison added, “And I’m like, ‘Yeah, on their skin. Not internally. You’re not supposed to put it there.’”
She said that it got to a point where she was refusing to use it, but Hef would lather it on her when she wasn’t looking anyway, something she found out from the other girls who were present at the time.
Holly describes this non-consensual act as “so foul” and “so gross”, adding that she had forgotten about it for the longest time but “I was reminded of it for some reason and it made me angry all over again”.
There are numerous scientific studies proving that it is likely you could develop a yeast infection if you use baby oil during sex.
Plus, oil of any kind easily breaks down condoms in as little as 60 seconds.
Not a good look, Hef.
Marquardt also mentioned that she could only hope that the other girls were being “checked out” for STDs by their on-site doctor since the condom situation was next to nil:
“You were hoping everyone’s in the same situation, and there is a doctor on staff,” Marquardt said. “You’re hoping everybody is being checked out, and everybody is being — I say this in quotes — ‘monogamous’ to that relationship, but you don’t know.”
To be as safe as possible, she said she sussed out a tactic, which was basically to ensure she got the act done first:
“If there’s new girls coming up, which there often were, like, I just wanted to be first and be done. And I felt like that was the cleanest way,” she added.
The velvet robe-wearing Playboy founder died in 2017 at the age of 91.
