Two truck accidents occurred in the exact same place on the R34 between Vryheid and Ulundi in KwaZulu-Natal on Monday.

The first truck was lying on the side of the road, having overturned, when another truck crashed into the accident scene and exploded into a fireball.

Someone driving into the mess managed to capture the second scene on video, reported News24.

In the video, you can see a few people siphoning petrol from the overturned truck while officers direct traffic around it.

Then suddenly, people are running for their lives as a huge fireball explodes from the second truck:

According to local Emergency Medical Services spokesperson Robert Mckenzie, “six vehicles were involved in the crash, and only two people were injured, including a truck driver”. The other was a traffic official working at the scene.

He confirmed that nobody was killed, which is miraculous considering the size of that fireball.

Mckenzie also said the exact cause of this incident is still not known.
