If you want to live among the haves, the have-yachts, and the have-mores, be prepared to fork out for the privilege.

On the pricier end of the scale, you’ll find this 10-bedroom mansion which Property24 says is one of the largest in Cape Town.

We’re talking 10 747 m² (10 000 will do for the headline), 1,07 hectares, and 2,65 acres.

From its vantage point on Price Drive, you get views that stretch across the Southern Suburbs and all the way to Gordon’s Bay:

The main house consists of six bedrooms including a generous master suite with private lounge, terrace and the most spectacular views. There are multiple reception rooms, an atrium, office, bar, double lift access and more.

The images do give a solid sense of scale but we’re not seeing every nook and cranny of the R98 million home.

The listing says that “due to privacy reasons we are not able to show the entire home and viewings are strictly by appointment”. We do know that there is a guard house, full perimeter security, and a “fortress-style boundary”.
