Does the name Corey Worthington ring a bell?

In 2008, Worthington threw an epic house party in Australia, which ended with the police being called after damage to neighbouring properties.

Rather than repent, he gave an infamous interview and became something of an Ozzie cult hero.

Fast forward 14 years and we have a contender to that throne. On Saturday, after allegedly robbing a Queensland service station with a machete earlier in the week, 18-year-old Charlie Woolfe-Moore gave reporters a piece of his mind.

This via The New York Post:

[He] was arrested and charged by police on Thursday night after police allege he robbed a Puma NightOwl service station on Government Road while armed with a machete.

Police allege he threatened a 48-year-old female store attendant, who placed the till on the counter. The 18-year-old then allegedly grabbed the cash and fled. He was arrested at a Government Road park.

He was charged with armed robbery and drug possession after police allegedly found Xanax on him.

The teen first clashed with reporters while heading inside Southport Police Station, before upping the ante on his way out.

For fans of ‘your mum’ jokes, this might be as good as it gets:

Vaping at the end was a nice touch. At the risk of sounding like a middle-aged person, Charlie’s parents must be very proud.

He is due in court again later this month. Guilty or not guilty? Perhaps only time will tell.
