Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson, known as Boris or BoJo to millions, was forced to resign as Tory leader in July after a series of scandals from his government led to ministers losing faith in his leadership.
On September 6, his reign as prime minister will end and either Rishi Sunak or Liz Truss will take over.
As his curtain call draws near, BoJo has been joining police on early-morning raids as part of an operation to crack down on suspected drug-related networks.
Just ask rapper Splinter Sales, who woke up bright and early on Wednesday morning to police at his door in West Norwood, London. The Independent below:
He filmed the moment he opened the door of his bedroom to see the prime minister standing in the hallway as part of a Metropolitan Police raid.
His video, which has gone viral after being posted on TikTok, shows Mr Johnson smiling and asking, “How are you doing?” after the man called out, “Wagwan [what’s going on], Boris?” and burst into laughter…
“I was so shocked,” he added. “I was drunk last night, I woke up to see Boris Johnson in my face. I thought I was dreaming.”
The rapper had been at Notting Hill carnival the previous night and had his camera on hand to film his unexpected meeting with the UK leader:
Rumour has it that when BoJo takes part in a raid there’s a 25% chance he bumps into a love child of his. Nobody seems to know quite how many offspring the prime minister has so we can’t rule it out.
Splinter Sales confirmed that he was not arrested, adding, “I don’t know what they were looking for but nothing happened to me.”
