A Ferrari LaFerrari is a rare collectable and widely considered one of the greatest modern automotive creations in the world.
Only 499 units were ever produced with a starting price of over $1 million and they’re considered the epitome of luxury and exclusivity on the road.
The hybrid hypercar’s value has shot up quite substantially from its original price over the last several years, per Luxury Launches, and now sits at $3,5 million.
You would think that if you had such a supercar in your possession, nobody else would be allowed to touch it, let alone get in and drive it.
Somehow, an owner from Dubai allowed a valet to drive his precious blue LaFerrari around Monaco, which it turns out, was a giant mistake, per AutoRevolution.
Yep, the valet crashed the supercar into a bunch of scooters and almost hit someone trying to take photos in a parking space in the streets of the luxe French Riviera state.
Watch the dramatic moment from the two-minute mark:
Let’s hope the valet has racked up sufficient savings from parking other people’s expensive cars to cover the excess.
The Ferrari ended up with several scratches on its carbon fibre front splitter and front bumper, which the owner’s insurance company might be able to fork out for fixing.
Although the exact reason for the crash has not been revealed, it looks like the valet forgot to put the LaFerrari in park mode.
Rookie, although I would also probably feel befuddled if I ever sat behind the wheel of a Ferrari.
