In case you haven’t heard, group sex is really in these days.
You’re old school, you call them orgies, and I respect that.
The Playboy Mansion and the man who was at the centre of it all, Hugh Hefner, have seen some things over the years. Recently, however, Hefner’s legacy is being reexamined with former Playmates coming forward to detail shocking experiences at the mansion.
A docuseries, Secrets of Playboy, has led to the current owners of Playboy distancing themselves from the culture Hefner created. One of the more vocal critics is Holly Madison (above left), and she’s teamed up with fellow ex-playmate Bridget Marquardt (above right) for a podcast, Girls Next Level.
The first episode was full of insider details, including what Madison said was the “cleanest way” to deal with a Playboy Mansion orgy. Here’s Yahoo! News:
She explained that while the group encounters typically weren’t done with protection, she couldn’t guarantee everybody was being as safe as she was.
She added: “You were hoping everyone’s in the same situation, and there is a doctor on staff. You’re hoping everybody is being checked out, and everybody is being – I say this in quotes – ‘monogamous’ to that relationship, but you don’t know.
“If there’s new girls coming up, which there often were, like, I just wanted to be first and be done. And I felt like that was the cleanest way.”
Madison previously described sex with Hefner as “hell” and “traumatic”.
Sorry to shatter whatever illusions you might have had about Hef and his lifestyle, especially in his later years.

The former stars of The Girls Next Door, which ran for six seasons, made it clear that the reality presented in the series was far from the truth.
They say they felt pressured to have sex with Hefner or risk being kicked out of the mansion, with high levels of tension between the women making things really awkward. Below from NewsAU:
“I can’t explain to you guys how embarrassing that whole routine was, especially as we got later down the road when there would be a lot of conflict with the other girls,” Madison continued.
“You’re literally sitting there naked having sex in front of a group of people who hate you and talk sh*t about you while you’re having sex — and you can hear it. It was just like hell.”
Hefner’s presence in these encounters was likened to “a bump on the log in the middle of the bed”.
The Playboy founder died in 2017 at the age of 91.
