The title of ‘Good Boy’ must be bestowed upon a dog in Durban for chasing four would-be robbers off of its property.

Last year it was Kei, the very brave Malinois cross who took a bullet to protect her family from armed robbers in Benoni, who earned that moniker.

The most recent heroic dog spoilt a gang’s plan to break into a property by chasing them back over the wall they climbed over, making the men scurry to safety as if their lives depended on it.

Footage of the medium-sized dog sending the gang fleeing back to whence they came has gone viral on Facebook, reported TimesLIVE.

Apparently, the incident took place at a home in the suburb of Newlands, Durban:

Stunning effort. The best part may just be how the dog circles back to retrieve the man who thought he could escape its clutches.

Fat chance, not on that dog’s watch.

It was reported that one of the men aimed a gun at the pup before getting the hell out of there.

One Facebook user praised the pooch with “Good doggie, excellent work” and then noted how much faster it worked compared to the police. Another reckons the dog needs more food and a paid vacation with the family.
