It’s been a busy week for Donald J. Trump.
The FBI searched his Mar-a-Lago residence on Monday. The investigation is looking into the alleged mishandling of White House records, including potentially classified material.
According to people familiar with the investigation, some of the documents the FBI sought related to nuclear weapons.
You might say the FBI went on a fission trip. It’s a stretch, I know.
Trump loves to troll and he was given a taste of his own medicine on Wednesday when a Florida man commissioned a plane to pull a sky banner with the message “Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha”. Six ‘has’ seems a tad excessive to me but the message was clear.
The plane circled over Mar-a-Lago while the former president’s supporters protested outside.
USA TODAY reports:
Miami resident Thomas Kennedy told USA TODAY Thursday that he and a handful of friends paid $1,800 to fly the banner for four hours Wednesday near Trump’s estate in Palm Beach.
“We thought it would be funny,” Kennedy, a self-professed Trump critic and Democratic activist said. “From our perspective, Trump is a bully and we wanted to give him a taste of his own medicine.”
Kennedy said he wanted to send a message to Trump and his supporters and called for them to “do something better with your time”.
I can imagine they’d say something similar back to a man who spent $1 800 on his trolling:
Here is video of our banner saying HAHAHA flying over Mar-a-Lago today. This is how you treat wannabe authoritarians like Trump. You ridicule and mock them. pic.twitter.com/gFqndjMSUv

In response to the FBI executing a legally obtained search warrant on the basis of probable cause, Trump denounced the investigation and called it a “witch hunt”.
You may recall that he nominated current FBI Director Christopher Wray to serve in the role during his presidency, saying he was “a man of impeccable credentials” and “a fierce guardian of the law and model of integrity”.
He who laughs last, laughs longest and if Trump is never actually prosecuted the joke ends up being on the American people.
