Given how the entire world watched him get moered on stage, I think Chris Rock has shown remarkable restraint in how he’s dealt with the aftermath of Will Smith’s slap.
In March, he touched on it briefly during a stand-up performance in Boston when admitting that he was “still kind of processing what happened”.
He went on to say that “at some point, I’ll talk about that shit. And it will be serious and funny.”
We may finally have reached that point. The New York Post reports Rock appeared alongside Kevin Hart and Dave Chappelle at Madison Square Garden on Saturday:
“Anyone who says ‘words hurt’ has never been punched in the face,” Rock, 57, declared…
Also during the event, Hart brought a live goat onstage and introduced it as “Will Smith.”
The goat presentation took place at the end of the Rock Hart: Only Headliners Allowed show and footage was captured by a member of the audience:

The goat part of the show didn’t exactly go to plan, revealed Hart. Below from Us Magazine:
“The goat took a s—t on stage. It was not planned either. That’s the one thing I didn’t think about. I said, ‘The goat’s gonna come out and do a tight two minutes,’ but instead he s—t on Chris’ shoes. He destroyed Chris’ shoes. He had on some white moon boots, and that goat got him.”
Hart shared a photo on Twitter which we can only assume was snapped before the soiling occurred:
During his set the following night at PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, New Jersey, Rock again touched on The Slap:
“Yeah, that shit hurt, motherf*cker, but I shook that shit off and went to work the next day. I’m not a victim, motherf*cker,” the “Grown Ups” star declared. “I don’t go to the hospital for a paper cut.”
As for Will Smith, the incident has caused far more damage to his career than a paper cut.
Speaking recently, Hart said the Bad Boys actor was “apologetic” and “in a better space”.
