Would you look at that – it’s already Thursday. Praise be.

It’s been a while since we’ve done a Throwback and usually, we feature videos like George Bush’s best gaffes. Time for something a little different.

While looking for a deal this week, I ventured down the Gumtree wormhole. My first thought was wow, the interface could use another update but it’s come a long way since the days of old. The logo has also been given a makeover.

Then I remembered an iconic Honda Ballade posting from 2013. It was a simpler time and whoever wrote it made sure to crack a joke at everyone’s expense.

My only bone of contention is that I go with ‘aweh’ and not ‘awe’, well aware that I’m in the minority.

The posting didn’t last long before being taken down. Whether that was because it was sold or somebody complained, we may never know.
