A hurricane party at a remote family mansion where you’ll meet your girlfriend’s rich, nihilistic, hard-partying mates sounds wild already.
Add in social snobbery and backstabbing, along with a few slasher secrets, and you’ll soon realise that hard partying comes at a price.
A24’s latest horror-comedy Bodies Bodies Bodies, is an updated version of 2019’s Ready Or Not, bringing the murder mystery party game premise to the Gen Zs, complete with all the Y2k revival chic that they love, per AV Club.
The dark comedy stars Amandla Stenberg (The Darkest Minds, The Hate U Give), Maria Bakalova (Oscar-nominated for her role in Borat 2), Myha’la Herrold, Chase Sui Wonders, Rachel Sennott (she made a breakthrough in Shiva Baby), Lee Pace, and The King Of Staten Island‘s Pete Davidson, otherwise known as Kim Kardashian’s latest squeeze.
The first perfectly edited trailer for Bodies Bodies Bodies is one of the best trailers of the year so far, reported Mashable.
Take a peek:
Yeah, it’s all fun and games until people start getting stabbed by a mysterious killer. Why does that always happen?
Bodies Bodies Bodies will be in cinemas from August 12.
