Late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel is not amused by former President Donald Trump’s antics, but his takedown of Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani certainly is amusing.
As noted by The Guardian, Kimmel dedicated a segment of his latest show to eviscerating Trump and Giuliani, whom he recently lambasted on a separate occasion for his appearance on The Masked Singer.
The Fox Network mystery-singer show unveiled Giuliani inside a ‘Jack-in-the-Box’ costume on an episode that aired in April.
It almost goes without saying that Giuliani is a highly controversial figure, and was complicit in Trump’s (ultimately catastrophic) refusal to concede after losing the US Presidential Election in 2020.
A fact that was not lost on many Masked Singer viewers, who expressed outrage that a man who overtly jeopardised the stability of American democracy would be invited to perform on television:

Last night, Kimmel took aim at Giuliani afresh, per HuffPost, apparently galvanised by new intel from that the committee investigating the January 6 riot at the US Capitol in 2022.
As per this piece in the Washington Times, the investigative committee has found that Giuliani was directly involved in fuelling Trump’s ‘stolen election’ rhetoric, and that Trump ignored advice from his campaign experts in favour of conferring with – and listening to – his personal attorney.
But the real humdinger is that Giuliani was reportedly drunk on election night, when he was doling out his wisdom:

In response to this nugget of stranger-than-fiction news, Kimmel played a “Drunk Giuliani” compilation that had Democrats country-wide doubled-over in laughter.
