The first gay rom-com that is comprised entirely of an LGTBQ+ cast is being released by Universal Studios.

The full trailer for Bros has been released, giving us a sneak peek at Billy Eichner playing a podcast host who is tasked with writing a rom-com about a gay couple that appeals to straight audiences.

In real life, Eichner helped pen the script alongside Nicholas Stoller – meta.

Eichner plays Bobby who meets Aaron (played by Luke Macfarlane), and they become two gay men so busy with the chaos of everyday life that they can’t find the time for love, reported Collider.

A line from the official synopsis says the film is “a smart, swoony and heartfelt comedy about finding sex, love and romance amidst the madness”.

Queer love is very much present, and so is pure comedy gold.

Stoller has good experience with successful comedies, having penned films like Zoolander 2, Neighbours, and Yes Man, so one can expect a few A-grade jokes.

Here’s the trailer. Careful, apparently, its NSFW:
