Elon Musk is revelling in the attention.
Since it’s become apparent that he’s going to buy Twitter, his every move is placed under the microscope. Factor in that he’s the world’s wealthiest person and ja, it’s around the clock coverage.
Quick, what’s he done now? Strap in – this is going to blow your mind.
He went to the Met Gala and he pulled some faces and he spoke about his love for fashion.
During his stroll down the red carpet, alongside his mother, Maye, Musk couldn’t help himself.
The South African twang is still there. If you hang around until the end, you’ll see that Maye’s accent is very, very ‘Souf Afriken’:
Maye was actually born in Canada but moved to Pretoria at the age of two, qualified as a dietician, and has also modelled for the best part of 50 years.
Naturally, Musk was asked what he has planned for Twitter once he assumes control. Below via The Independent:
“[It] would be to make Twitter as inclusive as possible, and to have as broad a swath of the country and the rest of the world on Twitter, and that they find it interesting and entertaining and funny, and that it makes their life better,” Musk said.
Sure, letting neo-Nazis and QAnon nutjobs back on Twitter will definitely make everybody’s lives better and funnier.
There will also be lots of memes and jokes:
