Juliette Bryant, a 20-year-old aspiring model when first introduced to Jeffrey Epstein, has spoken in the past about the horrors of the time she spent with the paedophile.
The Capetonian says instead of Epstein helping her modelling career take off, she was transported to Epstein’s various homes in Paris, New Mexico, New York City, and the US Virgin Islands.
The last of those locations gained the nicknames ‘Island of Sin’ and ‘Paedophile Island’ from locals.
In the third part of the BBC documentary series House of Maxwell, Bryant (pictured above in a still from the series) has once again opened up about a sex trafficking operation she likened to a “factory”.
Here’s The Daily Mail:
Juliette was taken on his private jet to his Caribbean island where she became trapped in the sex trafficking operation ‘run’ by Epstein and ‘operated’ by Ghislaine Maxwell…
[She] tells how she watched other victims perform sex acts on Epstein and was sexually assaulted by the predator on a number of occasions over almost two years. She estimates she saw 60 girls and women in the time she was there.
‘Things happened there that scared me so deeply that I can’t even talk about them,’ she says. ‘He fed off the terror, there was something about the energy of a girl being scared that he liked.’
Bryant says she is speaking out again to shed light on the scale of the horrors she witnessed.
In 2002, she was first approached by a woman who said Epstein could her via his connections at Victoria’s Secret.
She thought she was travelling to New York but received a phone call from Epstein’s office to say plans had changed and she was travelling to the US Virgin Islands.
Thinking it was for a modelling gig, she agreed:
But shortly after arriving on the island, it became clear the trip was far from the dream destination photoshoot she had imagined.
Juliette was asked to watch a movie with Epstein and another girl. To her horror the girl began performing a sex act on the paedophile…
‘There was no hope of getting away. I was in a foreign country with no money or cell phone or means of communication.
‘I just realised then I was completely trapped and there was nothing I could do. Ghislaine was running the girls and would tell us when we needed to go to his bedroom, you couldn’t say no, there was just no option.’
She was assaulted multiple times and then, before being sent home, was threatened that if she told anybody what had happened Epstein could make her life a living hell.
Given what she’s been through, it’s not surprising that Bryant was appalled to see Prince Andrew by his mother’s side escorting her at Prince Philip’s recent memorial service.
Virginia Roberts Giuffre says Prince Andrew raped and sexually assaulted her on several occasions, and the two recently agreed on a sizeable out of court settlement before the civil case went to trial.
Here’s The Cut:
BBC News royal correspondent Peter Hunt called the escort appearance “rehabilitation on speed,” noting that his position — by his mother’s side and at the front of the service — felt extra visible, even compared to other members of his family. For Hunt, the queen’s apparent support of her second son looked like a possible sign of things to come: “If he can escort his mother at such a high-profile event, why can’t he unveil a plaque?”
Epstein’s victims interpreted the gesture similarly… Bryant [said], “It’s not just an insult to the victims — it’s a complete insult towards humanity… They [the Royal Family] obviously feel nothing for all the pain they have caused. But then again haven’t they always done as they pleased?”
Yes, they have and will continue to do so.
