Clearly, he loves acting because the man shows no signs of slowing down and is currently in South Africa filming scenes for Mission: Impossible 8.

His most recent stop – Ladysmith, KwaZulu-Natal, and more adoring fans.

This week also saw the release of the latest Top Gun: Maverick trailer and this one is very high-octane.

 The thrills immediately make their presence known, leaving viewers all frizzy-haired in its wake. But there are still bound to be questions. Will it live up to the original? Does Tom Cruise do his own stunts? Most importantly, is there another volleyball game?

…The trailer does a lot to really entice viewers both new and returning. The returning folks will be happy to see people like Cruise and even a quick mention of Val Kilmer’s Tom “Iceman” Kazansky, now promoted from Lieutenant to Admiral. Meanwhile, cinema fans who might be new to the world of Top Gun will likely enjoy the inclusion of new heavy hitters like Jennifer Connelly and Jon Hamm.

There’s certainly a healthy dose of nostalgia at every turn.
