A video of Jake and Logan Paul on a yacht that has been widely rumoured to be owned by Jeff Bezos has been doing the rounds.
However, the social media influencers rubbing shoulders with Amazon royalty is, in fact, too good to be true.
The video surfaced on Jake’s TikTok account, Essentially Sports reported, showing the brothers jumping from the deck of ‘The Flying Fox’, a 136-metre luxury charter superyacht punted as the world’s largest and once chartered by Beyoncé and Jay-Z.
The brothers were seen dancing shirtless with a Bezos lookalike – some bald chap in norm-core clothes – while Bo Burnham’s ‘Bezos I’ song played out:

Here it is on YouTube if you’d prefer:
Obviously, that is not actually Bezos, and the boys are (probably) not friends with him, despite their claims:
Jeff Bezos and I are homies.

The rumour that the $400 million (around R5,9 billion) yacht is owned by one of the richest people in the world makes sense, but it doesn’t exactly hold water.
Ever since journalist Yasher Ali tweeted that the yacht, docked in Datça, Turkey at the time, was Bezos’, things have spiralled.
Robb Report has more on that:
In the since-deleted tweet, Ali referred to the Flying Fox as “Jeff Bezos’s new yacht.” The journalist told Insider that he tweeted about Bezos owning the boat after seeing an Instagram post by jewelry designer Loree Rodkin which suggested the boat belonged to the tech titan. (The caption has since been edited.)
…A source with knowledge of the situation tells Robb Report that Bezos does not own the Flying Fox, nor has he ever been onboard it. (Insider also published a statement from Amazon denying that the billionaire owned the yacht.)
The boat is part of Monaco-based Imperial’s fleet of yachts, available for charter at a hefty price per week – Queen B and Jay-Z reportedly spent $4 million (around R58 million) per week when they hired her out for B’s birthday.
With two helipads, a 12-metre swimming pool, a beach club, a gym, a 400-square-metre two-floor spa with the finest treatments available (hammam, jacuzzi, sauna), the Flying Fox seems worthy of all the attention.
Here’s some additional footage of the inside, with lush amenities included:
Until recently, we’ve only seen pictures of the inside, so having a bit of a peek around is pretty cool.
