Nick Kyrgios loves having a go at the crowd.
He may have had some very vocal support en route to winning the men’s doubles title at the Australian Open, but it was back to business as usual during his quarter-final loss to Rafa Nadal at the Indian Wells tournament in Indian Wells, California.
That puts Nadal at 19 wins and zero losses in 2022 with the French Open two months away. Number 22, anybody?
Back to the antics of the Ozzie during his 7-6 5-7 6-4 defeat, which curiously involved Ben Stiller.
This from NewsAU:
…Kyrgios dragged Hollywood star Ben Stiller into his grievances in the third set.
The actor was sitting in the front row behind the baseline when someone in the crowd ticked Kyrgios off, perhaps suggesting where he should serve or what he should try to disrupt Nadal.
The heckler replied “no” when Kyrgios asked “are you good at tennis?” before the tennis player drew on a real-life example and used Stiller to make his point.
This clip starts just after the crowd member admitted they’re not much good at tennis:

Poor Ben. Just wanted to watch a bit of tennis.
At least nobody shouted out that Kyrgios should give Stiller acting tips.
Shortly after his Stiller quip, Kyrgios told another member of the crowd to “shut the f*** up” in a heated exchange.
To his credit, he did pull off another one of those outrageous underarm aces during the second set:
