Every so often, a pitch invader livens things up and even the players have a giggle.
Then you get ‘Jarvo69’, who as somebody pointed out on Twitter might just be the very definition of taking the joke too far.
It’s not funny anymore, chap. Call it a day.
During Saturday’s Six Nations clash between England and Ireland at Twickenham, as he has so often at sporting events across the UK, Daniel Jarvis once again made it onto the field of play.
This time, security was (eventually) up to the task and Jarvis was floored by a crunching tackle.
First, this video did the rounds:
I missed it but had this off my mate. Good to see that attention seeking pitch invader get absolutely walloped 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 pic.twitter.com/XJ7SD6jCP0

It wasn’t long before a number of other angles emerged:
Plenty of good moments in the #GuinnessSixNations but pitch invader ‘Jarvo 69’ getting flattened by Twickenham security guard is undoubtedly the highlight of the weekend.pic.twitter.com/1s2dRSmKme

Perhaps English lock Charlie Ewels should have taken some notes, as his dangerous tackle resulted in a red card just 82 seconds into the clash.
His side fought bravely with 14 men and there wasn’t much in it entering the final 10 minutes before Ireland pulled away and won 32-15.
Back to Jarvis – the fact that he isn’t banned from stadiums across the UK seems absurd. Consider this from GiveMeSport:
Jarvis first came to the sporting world’s attention during England’s Test match series against India during the summer of 2021, where he made it onto the pitch on three separate occasions, even steaming in to deliver a ball to Moeen Ali and bumping into Jonny Bairstow at the Oval.
He was arrested and charged with aggravated trespass after his run-in with Bairstow, yet has somehow managed to infiltrate another major sporting event.
This month, he’s due to appear in court on those charges.
Naturally, he’s revelling in the latest round of attention:
Here it is people my England Rugby Debut that went wrong!!!!

If you wanna see the plonker’s full video, we shall oblige, but only because he says all the revenue generated is going to help the people of Ukraine.
