Nothing Like Being Crapped On By A Bird On Live TV [Video]

It was a lovely day for a Queensland state press conference on Wednesday until someone got pooped on.

Thankfully (or not so thankfully, depending who you ask), Mikey Webb, a popular Auslan (Australian sign language) interpreter, was in the firing line.

A huge glob of bird poop hit him on the shoulder and face while he was in the middle of signing.

But Mikey, who often fronts the media for state press conferences, handled it with poise and haste, doing his best not to interrupt Deputy Premier Steven Miles as he updated the nation on the recent floods in Australia.

“Well sh**,” is all he said, which was not at all wrong:

Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk asked everyone at the media briefing to look up and find the suspect bird, reported Sky News, while Webb fixed his face and shunned his soiled jacket.

It’s really hard to be as cool as he was when you’ve just been stopped in your tracks by an unexpected aerial assault.

I know I screamed outright when I received the same treatment from a feathered friend.

But as Ms Palaszczuk said, nothing can get in the way of this guy being an absolute professional:

They say being pooped on by a bird is good luck, but surely an owl means double luck? Just say it does, Mikey.

Not that he needs it. He is more than capable. Check him out in 2020 signing an AC/DC song on stage at a festival:

Quite the legend.
