When you’re the world’s richest person your personal life is picked apart.
According to the Forbes real-time tracker, Elon Musk is worth $225 billion, which puts him more than $40 billion clear of Bernard Arnault in second and just under $50 billion clear of Jeff Bezos.
You can be sure that will irk the Amazon man given the duo’s history of public sparring.
On the plus side, having untold riches might make it a tad easier to meet women. Having split from Grimes in September last year (the two share a child, the wonderfully named X AE A-XII), it’s being reported that Musk is now dating 27-year-old actress Natasha Bassett.
That age is according to Page Six, although Wikipedia lists her as being 24 and Hollywood Life says she is 29.
27 appears to be the most commonly used age.
…Bassett — who was photographed recently exiting Musk’s private jet in LA [below] — had been seeing the 50-year-old Tesla CEO for “some time”.
…they were “friends first and only became romantic after he split with Grimes.”
Another source told Hollywood Life that they “are very much into each other and have been spending a tremendous amount of time together”.
Bassett was born in Sydney, Australia, played Britney Spears in 2017’s unauthorised Lifetime biopic Britney Ever After (which has a 2,6 rating on IMDb so is undoubtedly horrific), and will appear in the upcoming Elvis biopic starring Tom Hanks.
The actress made the move to Los Angeles years ago and appears to share a similar sense of humour with Musk:
