It’s rumoured that Ghislaine Maxwell and Prince Andrew dated back in the day.
However, she really screwed the Duke of York with a 2015 email sent to lawyer Alan Dershowitz.
At the time, Dershowitz was also facing allegations of abuse from Virginia Roberts Giuffre. They have since been dropped, but the man who joined former president Donald’s Trump legal team in January 2020 to defend him against impeachment charges was sweating bullets.
The Daily Beast reckons Prince Andrew “may have been prompted to settle… after seeing an email sent by Ghislaine Maxwell”:
…on Jan. 10, 2015, the lawyer Alan Dershowitz… sent an email to Maxwell saying: “Dear G. Do you know whether the photo of Andrew and Virginia is real? You are in the background.”
Just 11 minutes later, Maxwell replied: “It looks real. I think it is.”
The Duke’s defence team, as well as his cronies, have long tried to discredit the photo by saying it was manipulated.
He claimed he had no memory of having ever met Giuffre. Maxwell stating that she thinks the photo is real would have been a damning blow to any further attempts to sow doubt on the photo’s authenticity.
The photograph was said by Giuffre to have been taken by Epstein in Maxwell’s London townhouse in 2001.
Having reached an out of court settlement with Giuffre (using his mommy’s money, naturally), it’s worth taking a closer look at some of the terms.
Over to The Telegraph:
The Duke of York can no longer repeat his denial that he raped Virginia Roberts Giuffre, due to the terms of their out-of-court settlement…
It prevents the Duke from even repeating his claim that he had no recollection of meeting Ms Giuffre…
It has been claimed that the terms of the deal bought Ms Giuffre’s silence only for a specific time period, which could allow her to write a book or give television interviews in a matter of months.
If that is the case, then it’s likely that Giuffre would only be able to publicly speak about the matter after the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
All that hassle to celebrate 70 years of sitting on a throne. Who cares?
The major Platinum Jubilee celebrations will begin on June 2, 2022, and continue over the weekend until June 5.
Just in time for Giuffre to give her victim impact statement to a New York court when Ghislaine Maxwell is sentenced for sex trafficking at some stage in June.
