Tom Cruise is in South Africa!

He’s here to shoot scenes for his next film, Mission: Impossible 8, and he’s been spotted a few times giving his helicopter a spin in Hoedspruit, Limpopo.

The film crew will be using the Blyde River Canyon, only an hour away from Hoedspruit, as one of the more beautiful backdrops in the movie, expected to launch in July 2024.

Cruise has been known to surprise local residents when he makes a wild appearance in his chopper – all smiles and waves, ready for a chat and a quick snap.

He must have been working on a tighter schedule this time.

Jacaranda FM reported that a titillated Gillian Leigh Soames spotted the Hollywood actor doing his thing and flashed him:

Cruise was then carted off to his lodgings, but not without a cheeky little wave from the car:

This video captures other fans waving to the Hollywood actor as he lifts off from Hoedspruit:

Others spotted Cruise in his helicopter over Oribi Gorge, KwaZulu-Natal:

Cape Town Etc reported that Cruise and the crew are expected to be in the Limpopo area for around two months.

Then, they are also expected to make a stop here in Cape Town to shoot more scenes for the movie.

Keep an eye on the sky.
