Sharing a house with another person usually comes with all sorts of compromises.
They’re a little messier in the kitchen, you eat a slice of their leftover pizza now and again, and both of you moan behind the other’s back.
It’s called cohabitation and we’ve all been there.
Sometimes, though, roommate nightmares go well beyond the mundane. Netflix’s Worst Roommate Ever, a five-part docuseries debuting on March 1, will make your past complaints seem very minor.

Worst Roommate Ever is set to highlight “four harrowing tales of seemingly harmless roommates turning into real-life nightmares”.
The show will include interviews with victims who will recount their experiences as the people they lived with revealed their “malevolent and sometimes violent intentions”.
“These unsettling true stories chronicle the masked menace that can be lurking right down the hall,” the plot synopsis from the streamer reads.
One of those four tales centres around 1980s serial killer Dorothea Puente, who was convicted of killing tenants who lived in her Sacramento home.
