A brazen robbery took place at a Louis Vuitton store in a mall in White Plains, New York last month.
The suspects just walked in, scuffled a bit with what appears to be the store employees, and walked off with some pricey purses while the security guard watched on without lifting a finger.
A video of the incident has popped up on social media and in the news, showing two thieves walking off scot-free with a couple of Louis Vuitton bags in their arms at the luxury Westchester mall.
The first suspect managed to leave with two bags, while the second had a harder time breaking free as shop employees wrestled with him.
But in the end, they both got away, reports The New York Post:
No guns, no running, and a security guard that’s watching on like the crime is a fascinating movie behind a screen.
Still, this isn’t really a textbook play-by-play of how to rob a store, and it’s unlikely that future crooks will get away as easily.
The mall made it known that they have now taken additional steps to further beef up the security programme.
