Nowadays, Ben Affleck is perhaps best known as one half of ‘Bennifer’.
I didn’t come up with the name so don’t hate on me.
He’s starred in many a Hollywood smash hit (and miss) over the years, but did you know that long before Good Will Hunting or Armageddon he was the host of a 1980s children’s TV show?
Those who watch The Graham Norton Show will but for the rest I present a Throwback Thursday look at the PBS educational series The Voyage of the Mimi:

More details from InStyle:
The show, which was broken up into two parts, fictional and educational to keep kids’ attention, featured a group of kids traveling the seas on The Mimi—the fictional portion—and learning about science in the process—the educational portion.
In an episode titled “Goose Bumps,” Affleck takes his viewers to the Arctic Wind Tunnel simulator at the U.S. Army Research Institute of Environmental Medicine where he meets up with a few scientists to talk about body temperature regulation.
That episode also showcases Affleck’s full range of facial expressions:
That guy has now won two Oscars, in 1998 for Best Writing, Screenplay Written Directly for the Screen (shared with Matt Damon for Good Will Hunting) and in 2012 for Best Motion Picture of the Year (Argo).
At least he’ll always have Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice to keep him grounded:
