Jeremiah’s.
Neptunes back in the day.
If you know, you know.
Kenton-on-sea, or Kenton to most, is a great spot to spend a December holiday. Mind you, I would happily spend all year round living alongside the Bushmans River in this cracking spot.
Bushmans or Bushman’s? Seems a mixed bag online so let’s stick with the former.
Anyway, Pangani Lodge is listed for sale on Pam Golding and the R9,95 million price tag doesn’t seem over the top when you look at what you’re getting:
Situated in the Natures Landing Conservancy, this spectacular country residence is set in a large landscaped garden. Architect designed Pangani Lodge overlooks the Bushmans River and boasts magnificent views both up and down the River.
The lodge offers many designer features with exquisite high end finishes throughout.
The generously proportioned rooms have high ceilings and flow onto expansive wrap around Balau decks.
The main living area incorporates a glass lit library, custom built Rhodesian teak bar and flooring, and a wood burning fireplace.
The open plan gourmet kitchen comes fully equipped with top of the range appliances and ample granite worktops.
Naturally, the master suite is as luxurious as they come and the pool is heated so you can wallow throughout the day and enjoy the view.
There’s also a pottery studio and a boma on the property, as well as a communal jetty and slipway for access to the river.
Oh, ja, and a landing strip suitable for light aircraft for those who can’t be bothered with the Garden Route traffic.
I suppose I should mention that it has four bedrooms and sits on a 11 095 m² Erf.
There’s also a manager’s accommodation which is a one-bedroom, one-bathroom.
Give me WiFi and a boat so I can make it to the Sandbar restaurant and I’ll happily live there.
