As soon as adrenaline takes hold of the body, things that are supposed to be impossible can become an easy feat.
This deer in India has proved this by soaring at an insane height, seemingly quite effortlessly, as it tries to scramble over a dirt path and away from the “threat” of the nearby humans.
The deer’s defence was twofold: it managed to get away successfully and it left onlookers so stunned that if they were ever planning on doing anything to the deer (they probably weren’t), they absolutely would not be able to.
The New York Post reported that the “jaw-dropping video of the gravity-defying feat” was shared on Friday to the Twitter account of India-based environmental NGO WildLense Eco Foundation.
The slow-motion clip has spread rapidly on the social media site:

That is one badass Bambi!
With such species-defying athleticism, you might be wondering what kind of deer it is:
Although the clip’s poster doesn’t actually disclose what type of deer is featured in the footage, the axis deer — a species native to India — can reportedly leap over fences when threatened…
Some folks on social media compared the flying deer to something out of an “action movie”, calling it “Matrix-evoking” and just generally being awe-struck by the deer’s incredible air time.
Hey, when an animal’s fight or flight instinct kicks in, there is no telling what it is capable of.
