PUMA has done very well with the new collaboration with pop sensation Dua Lipa.

The limited-release collection is so on-trend that it will give anyone keen on fashion and pop music butterflies in their tummy.

This might have something to do with the name of the capsule, ‘Flutur’, which is the Albanian word for butterfly.

Or the fact that the initial four items on sale are emblazoned with Lipa’s droopy iridescent butterfly above the PUMA logo.

The collab is really captivating if I don’t say so myself:

Per Elle, the Nineties and Noughties-inspired PUMA x Dua Lipa “Flutur” collection has already dropped, featuring two cropped baby T-shirts, an oversized hoodie, and a pair of dance-worthy Mayze Flutur sneakers.

The PUMA shoes are reimagined in Lipa’s signature style, with triple-black leather and added butterfly logos on the tongue and insole:

The ‘Levitating’ singer was hands-on during the shoot, taking a pair of scissors to style the hoodie how she likes it (cropped) and encouraging fans to make the items their own:

Here’s Lipa on her vision for the collab:

“For me butterflies are more than just beautiful creatures, they represent so much, like transformation, hope, and metamorphosis, over this past year the butterfly has become especially symbolic and meaningful to me,” said Lipa in the press release.

“The name of the capsule, ‘Flutur,’ is the Albanian word for butterfly. I chose it to pay homage to my heritage while also celebrating this new beginning with PUMA.”

Apparently, the full collection will drop later this year.

If cropped tops and butterflies aren’t really your thing, then perhaps the PUMA end of season sale will speak your language.

You’ll definitely find some sneakers and graphic tees to suit your tastes there.
