You know a relationship is serious when a person brings their partner home for Christmas to meet (and bust a few moves with) friends and family.

Trevor Noah brought his American actress girlfriend, Minka Kelly, to Cape Town for the holidays, giving her the opportunity to meet some of his local friends.

The 41-year-old actress and 37-year-old The Daily Show host have been dating since 2020, according to Page Six:

…Kelly and Noah began dating in 2020 but broke up in May after nine months together.

The split didn’t last long, however, as they seemingly reconciled the following month.

They were spotted out and about in New York City several times, and even vacationing together in St. Barts.

Despite a few splits along the road, they seem to be totally loved up right now, confirming what an insider told PEOPLE in August 2020 about their relationship being “very serious”.

Kelly’s snaps are supposedly the first time she’s publically acknowledged her relationship with Noah. She sure does seem genuinely grateful for him now:

That came a few days after Noah shared a photo of them together while in Cape Town celebrating his longtime friend Xolisa Dyeshana’s birthday at Clos Malverne Wine Estate in Stellenbosch:

Although, fans weren’t so taken by his moves, per East Coast Radio:

Some Instagram users said Trevor looked like he was doing the “chicken pox dance”.

“This is what happens when South Africans leave for too long… ” another user joked.

We forgive him, as it might be that pesky medical lawsuit that is distracting him from dancing properly.
