Ever since OJ Simpson raced through Los Angeles in his white Bronco all those years ago, high-speed car chases have been TV rating sensations.
OJ had fame on his side, but Ryan Stone had…
Well, he had total and absolute dedication to trying to outrun law enforcement.
This week, the then-30-year-old’s 2014 car chase through Denver, Colorado went viral once more thanks to the tweet below.
I don’t want to give too much away, so buckle up and enjoy the show:

Fancy a guess at how many years he was sentenced to?
Just the 160, reported The Denver Post in a 2015 story:
He will likely become eligible for parole after 75 years, prosecutors said.
A Douglas County jury convicted Stone of 18 charges in April, including attempted manslaughter, first-degree assault and child abuse. During the pursuit in March 2014, Stone reached speeds of 100 mph while he raced over shoulders and sped toward oncoming traffic…
The chase began in Longmont, where Stone stole an SUV — carrying a 4-year-old boy buckled into a car seat — from a gas station. He carjacked two other vehicles before the pursuit was over.
Stone also critically injured a state trooper during the chase, hitting Bellamann Hee at around 145 kilometres per hour and shattering his leg in 20 places.
Family members say Stone suffered from drug addiction, particularly to methamphetamine, and is actually a compassionate person.
Happy Thursday.
