There is no shortage of incredible inventions from all over the world.
The past few years alone have brought about genius advancements ranging from artificial intelligence to medical technology and absolutely everything in between.
A quick scroll through TIME’s list of the best inventions for 2020 is enough to overwhelm you.
South Africa might not be a technological superpower, but that doesn’t mean our people aren’t hella inventive.
In fact, one might argue that we are renowned for having amazing entrepreneurial skills and unique solutions.

A video captured by another car driving alongside the audacious invention has been doing the rounds on social media.
One person in the car driving behind the green Golf can be heard applauding them for their “mathematics” as they turn a corner by a red light:
CEY on the number plate suggests that the brave motorists could be from the Strand and Gordon’s Bay areas of Cape Town.
Yep, it seriously is one of those ‘only in South Africa’ moments.
