The Heat Rich List 2021 is out.
That means that we get to find out who tops the charts for the richest 30-and-under pop stars.
The list, compiled by Heat magazine, is now in its 11th year of diving into the “bank accounts of Britain’s youngest, richest stars to find out exactly where they make their money”.
The magazine delves into company accounts, record sales, TV contracts, and endorsements to estimate the worth of these celebs mostly from the UK and Ireland, but also some from beyond.
I can hardly believe that Heat is still a thing, but alas, here we are.
A certain ginger 30-year-old is at the top of the list for the third year in a row.
This is thanks to him having increased his estimated worth to £236,5 million (around R5 billion) in the past 12 months.
Yup, that’ll be Ed Sheeran really blowing it out of the water, reports Sky News:
Sheeran is doing so well, in fact, that no one else even comes close.
Adele, who is 33, doesn’t make the list; earlier in 2021, The Sunday Times Rich list estimated she was worth £130 million, although that’s sure to increase following her long-awaited comeback album.
That sure does look like one hell of a retirement you got going for yourself, Sheeran.
Here he is in his latest hit ‘Bad Habits’:
Harry Styles, 27, is probably on a bit more than a ‘Watermelon Sugar High’ as he has an estimated worth of £80 million (around R1,7 billion).
In third place is the award-winning pop group Little Mix, who as a trio has an estimated worth of £66,7 million (around R1,4 million).
I can’t say I’ve heard of them, and in case you haven’t either, here’s a quick music video:

All the former One Direction stars have done really well for themselves, all cracking a spot on the list.
Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne tied in sixth with £47 million, while Zayn Malik was ninth with £38 million.
The highest new entry for 2021, at number 16 with £17 million, is Lewis Capaldi, 25.
Here’s his hit ‘Somone You Loved’:
The magazine also compiled a list of the wealthiest stars outside the UK, per The Mirror:
Reality star and make-up mogul, Kylie Jenner, claimed the top spot in the list with £773 million, followed by singer Justin Bieber with £347 million.
Here’s Heat’s list of the top five 30-and-under stars outside the UK:
Sheeran would come in at a respectable third place if the UK and world lists are combined.
Although, next year he will be too old to make it onto the list, which leaves room for growth for the other pop stars then.
Y’all better get cracking.
