After having a rather topsy-turvy relationship with Scott Disick for all those years, Kourtney Kardashian is finally getting hitched.

Not with Disick, though, but with her latest love, Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker.

And in true Kardashian fashion, the proposal was stunningly over the top.

Via The Daily Beast, Barker, 45, popped the question to Kardashian, 42, in an “elaborate beachfront showstopper of a proposal”.

Apparently, the paparazzi had followed the couple to the Rosewood Miramar Hotel in Montecito, California, where they found them embracing with heaps of red roses around them.

The reality TV star shared photographs of the proposal on Instagram:

Kim Kardashian, who left a series of engagement ring emojis under her sister’s Instagram post, later tweeted a video of the couple together with a close-up of the ring:

E! News reported that Khloe Kardashian and her on-again, off-again boyfriend Tristan Thompson were also present when Barker proposed.

Barker and Kardashian, who have been friends for a long time, began dating in January this year and confirmed their relationship on social media shortly after Valentine’s Day.

Unlike Kourtney’s relationship with Disick, with whom she shares three children, her family seem to really like and approve of Barker.
