It’s time for our Friday property wander.
We’re again venturing beyond the lentil curtain (last week we went very deep south and all the way to Misty Cliffs), with an R8 million listing in Noordhoek.
Technically, it’s San Michel in Noordhoek, but let’s not get bogged down in the fine print.
Your R8 million lands you a “Dual Living, Stunning Equestrian Home with the best views of Noordhoek Beach and situated at the top of Silvermine Mountain”.
That’s via the Property24 listing:
You will have a stunning open plan Main House with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Lovely warm fireplace in the lounge for those cold winter nights.
Upstairs – Main bedroom en suite plus a study and second bedroom. Downstairs are 2 bedrooms and one family bathroom.
There are 3 fully self contained 1 bedroom apartments either overlooking one of South Africa’s finest beaches or having a garden or Mountain View. One of the apartments is already a Section and could be sold by the new owner…
The home boasts views of both oceans (the Atlantic and Indian Oceans). Not many homes boast a sunrise & sunset. Relax at the pool & enjoy this magnificent view.
There are definitely some rental opportunities here.
All three apartments are single bedrooms with ensuites and an open plan with a lounge/dining area and kitchen.
Two of the three have their own balcony with a view down over Noordhoek Beach.
Based on the pool and the trampoline, I’ve figured out it’s this one from above:
The listing also says that the birdlife is amazing (keep an eye out for the elusive ground woodpecker), as well as the flora and fauna.
There are nearby stables for horses, and the famous Noordhoek Farm Village is just a short ride away.
It’s all quite festive on that side of the world.
For R8 million, are you going San Michel or Misty Cliffs with a bit of spare change?
