Every so often – even for those of us who are forced to spend way too much time on the internet – you see a video that makes you chuckle.
It’s even better when it’s a uniquely South African video, like that SABC News ‘Pulseline ZA’ blunder from two weeks back.
I definitely don’t agree with the sentiment that TikTok is “the best place in the world” but I do thank @OzzaT_ for doing the hard yards and uploading this video to Twitter.
To say too much would be to ruin the fun.
Just settle in and enjoy.

Before you say it, I know.
It’s definitely a skit between friends, rather than an actual altercation.
That hasn’t stopped South Africans from dubbing it The Real Housewives Of 7de Laan, and special mention to the woman still wearing her Spar Women’s Race shirt and medal.
Never pass on a chance to big up your achievements.
Somebody else suggested it be titled Survivor: Karen, and there were comparisons to the infamous ‘Hugo bel die polisie’ video.
I can’t mention that without plonking the video here:
do yall know what today is? it’s the one year anniversary of us all becoming aware of the phrase “hugo bel die polisie” pic.twitter.com/4vxFQrPvao

There were also remixes. So many remixes.
That was two years ago? Feels like a lifetime.
Alright, back to the slog and grind.
Hou my vas!
