Zach Galifianakis is an excruciatingly awkward host who interviews various celebrities for his Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis series.
There are 21 episodes of this talk-show parody, which has Galifianakis ask questions that are often veiled insults, delivered in such a deadpan manner that they can either make you laugh till you cry or become a little awkward.
Apparently, one of the stars of The Hangover decided that interviewing A-list celebrities would help him reclaim his Hollywood reputation, per NewsAU.
It’s worked out for him, and he even managed to get a good laugh out of Matthew McConaughey with some banter in the movie version of the series which hit Netflix back in 2019.
McConaughey posted a video of an out-take from the movie to his Instagram account this week, where he struggled to keep it together while being absolutely roasted by Galifianakis:
