If you have been keeping track with Spider-Man, then you might know that there have been months of speculation, rumours, and even a leak for the latest in the film series, Spider-Man: No Way Home.

You would also be glad to know, then, that Marvel Cinematic Universe (and Sony) released the official trailer recently.

That’s a full three minutes of  Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), Alfred Molina (Doctor Octopus), and of course, Tom Holland as Spider-Man.

For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, the friendly neighbourhood hero is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a superhero.

When he gets Doctor Strange to be his mentor, asking him for a spell to wipe everyone’s memories which doesn’t work out as planned, the multiverse explodes, per CNET.

Expect astral planes, trippy sorcery, sinking cities, and more of the “multiverse of madness” being unleashed.

The Verge explains that No Way Home is a direct follow up from the mid-credits scene in the last movie, Far From Home, which was released in 2019.

This third outing is expected to see a couple of crossovers with previous movie versions, including a pop in from Spider-Man predecessor Tobey Maguire.

Give the trailer a look-see:

Spider-Man: No Way Home will be in theatres on December 17.
